The main challenge was figuring out how to provide an easy-to-use subscription experience for a product such as ice cream while accounting for all the restrictions and specifics related to the product and the subscription service's operations. Dealing with the client's demands and managing their expectations was a big challenge because this was one of the first projects I took on after joining the agency. This was especially the case because the project was took on during the global COVID-19 pandemic, when the home office model was still relatively new to most of those involved.
The main challenge was figuring out how to provide an easy-to-use subscription experience for a product such as ice cream while accounting for all the restrictions and specifics related to the product and the subscription service's operations. Dealing with the client's demands and managing their expectations was a big challenge because this was one of the first projects I took on after joining the agency. This was especially the case because the project was took on during the global COVID-19 pandemic, when the home office model was still relatively new to most of those involved.
Carried out extensive research on platforms that marketed the same types of products that would be offered, as well as analyzing various pages that offered subscriptions or loyalty programs. This allowed me to better understand the mechanisms available on the market to provide these services.
Used a heuristic evaluation to conduct an analysis of possible usability improvements after gathering resources through benchmarking. Before taking these aspects into consideration for the Ice Cream Club solution, I found potential flaws in the layout and user experience.
Created wireframes and low and high fidelity prototypes to visualize and test the proposed solutions. I will iterate based on client feedback and best design practices.
Carried out usability tests with real users to assess the effectiveness of the proposed solutions. Identified problem points and areas for improvement for further refinement.
Worked in collaboration with the development team to implement design improvements to the e-commerce platform. Performing final tests to ensure that all functionalities are working as expected before launch.

The creation of the online store was a success, and working together with the development team and the Product Owner was crucial. Especially the Product Owner's involvement in facilitating exchanges with the client. The creative team was also essential, making a decisive contribution to improving and evolving the layout throughout the project.
